	World Impact is a nationwide, interdenominational, Christian discipling and church-planting ministry dedicated to ministering God’s love in the inner cities of America.

	Church planting is biblically and strategically the best way to accomplish our goal of reaching the inner city for Christ.

	World Impact is an interdenominational Christian missions organization which ministers in American inner cities. We are a missions organization because we minister to the unchurched, minister cross-culturally and establish indigenous churches.

5)	How are your staff supported?

	All staff are involved in raising their financial support through the donations of churches, businesses, friends, family members and other individuals. This money covers staff living expenses, medical insurance, retirement or social security, and other expenses.

7)	How much of my gift goes to administration and how much to ministry?

	0% to administration, 100% to ministry, assuming the gift is designated. In other words, if a gift is designated to a missionary, a local ministry or a project, 100% of the funds are applied as designated. World Impact specifically raises money for administration.

10)	Are you audited by an outside organization?

	Yes. Each year we are audited by a certified public accounting firm. Copies of the audit report are available upon request from the National Office.

11)	How much does it cost per month to support a missionary?

	Costs for single missionaries average $1250 per month for salary, retirement, medical and dental insurance, and other expenses. Costs for a family of five average $3400 for the same benefits.

	Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA) based on the following criteria: Written statement of evangelical faith Governed by a board of at least 5 non-staff people Independently audited in accordance with generally accepted accounting Principles (GAAP) or generally accepted accounting standards (GAAS) Audited financial statements available upon request Audit committee reporting to the board Activities are conducted with high standards of financial integrity Compliance with ECFA standards of Fund Raising (available upon request) Christian Camping International (CCI) Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Christian Management Association (CMA) Independent Charities of America (ICA) Guide Star - Philanthropic Research, Inc.

	Read Dr. Phillips' books, Complete the written application and, if approved, an on-site interview. Support raising follows acceptance prior to beginning ministry. Please contact us if you would like to receive an application

14)	What is involved in becoming a summer intern with World Impact?

	Complete the written application and phone interview, and if accepted, raise support ($100 per week) to come live with our missionaries for 8 - 10 weeks of ministry outreach and community service. Please contact us if you would like to receive an application

	Our criteria for starting new city ministries includes securing ten supporting churches that can provide a local board, a missionary team and financial support to the ministry. National Board approval preceeds formal start-up of new ministries. Please contact us for more information.
